Meeetings and Events

What We Do

  • 4 quarterly in-person meetings per year (check website and social media for dates, topics, and locations).

    • Planned for February, May, August, November.

  • Special presentations, webinars, social events, and community tours throughout the year.

    • A Spring and Fall Virtual Educational presentation. ​

  • Maintain a private listserv for members to communicate about upcoming grief events, resources, referrals, case processing, etc.

  • Distribute information to the community about grief support throughout the state via social media.

Interested in Presenting at a Meeting?

At least two of our yearly general meetings include an educational and/or local resource presentation in addition to networking time. Interested in presenting at a general meeting or special virtual presentation? Please contact Genna Reeves at greeves@heartlightcenter.org to propose a presentation or speaker. If accepted by the Steering Committee, you’ll be scheduled to present at an upcoming meeting. We invite community partners for presentations, panel discussions, and workshops. Join us in learning, growing and finding community!
