Are You a Griever
Looking for Support?

Yellow Flower

The Grief Networking Alliance of New Mexico (GNA-NM) is a professional community of practitioners and volunteers dedicated to supporting those who grieve. Yet, beyond the networking, training and collaboration that guide our work, we want this space to be a welcoming place for anyone whose world has shifted through loss.

If you are a person who is grieving—perhaps after the death of someone you loved, or in the midst of a non-death loss, or simply facing the unexpected changes grief brings—you are invited here. We hope these resources will help you feel seen, steady your journey, and discover sparks of growth, connection and hope as you move forward.

We Have Grief Resources For You.

Grief changes everything, and finding the right support can make all the difference. The resources below were gathered by professionals who walk alongside grievers every day—with compassion, wisdom, and deep respect for each person’s unique story.

You’ll find links to trusted supports, books, programs, and other educational materials that nurture both heart and mind. Take what feels helpful, return when you need to, and remember: your grief matters, your healing matters, and hope is possible.

HeartLight Center
Blog and Heart-to-Heart Letters

Our stories are individual, but our experiences can be deeply connected. Reading the words of someone who has walked a similar path can bring comfort, understanding, and a sense of belonging. The Heart-to-Heart Letters and blog posts from our community offer real stories of love, loss, and healing. Through these reflections—letters, poems, quotes, and personal essays—you may find pieces of your own story echoed back to you. They remind us that even in the depths of grief, we are not alone. We invite you to explore these heartfelt contributions. Take your time, breathe, and let these words offer what you may need today: understanding, hope, and connection.

HeartLight Center

Participants learn everyday tools for navigating grief, gain insights from current research, and connect with others who understand the challenges of loss—all from the comfort of home. You can watch recordings of past presentations as well.
